At day 2, we went to Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST). There is a bit hustle in the morning as the bus waited at the other side while we blaming the bus for late arrival. Lesson learnt is that do confirm with the bus agency a day before to remind them on the trip and the exact pick up point as delay may caused much frustration. However, day at HKUST was fun.
They bought us for campus tour, visiting their laboratories and some speeches regarding on their university and generally structure at Hong Kong. Their centrifugal lab and wind tunnel facilities were amazing in which currently there is no centrifugal lab at Malaysia and the nearest centrifuge lab located at Singapore while Hong Kong had already 3 centrifuge lab in their government universities. Hopefully miracles happen, and Malaysia will have it before 2020.
In the afternoon, they provide us with a wonderful lunch and we have cultural exchange after the break. We play a video presentation (Introduction to Malaysia and FKA) and perform a dance (Pahang welcoming dance) and a song (Here in My home) which I sang badly and forgot the lyrics. Argggghh..... We have a discussion session ends of the day where the girls utilize this time to ask the best place for shopping and I test my Cantonese language with them, proven that Malaysian Cantonese is not bad after all. Hehe...
We have our dinner and tour around Mong Kok. We tried the Famous Hui Lau San which I feel the deserts were ‘so so’ only, but worth trying.
