Early in the morning, I and Yang How went to church service. You can found church quiet easily at Hong Kong. After that, we meet with the rest at the Star Ferry Pier. Attention, do not buy your ticket from the agent. You will notice there are several counters actually selling ticket to Macau. Do proceed and insist to buy from the New World First Ferry Services counter which will cost you around HKD290. If you bought from the agent, they will charge you around HKD320. You may request for departure time of ferry from the counter. The earliest from Tsim Sha Tsui is 7am. Last trip back from Macau will be at 10pm or 1030pm. When we reach Macau, we get ourselves a map of Macau for references.
The public transport there was very cheap. Macau do accept HKD as MOP, so you no need to went through the hassle by converting the money and pay for the transaction difference between both currency. We drop of at Senado Square and walk all the way to St Paul Ruins. We have our lunch at Wong Chi Kei which is famous of their noodles. You can find most of the Macau famous thing on the way to the ruins. A little tips, do not buy biscuit on the way to the ruins, but only after you visited the ruins then you get yourself some of the Macau famous biscuit and egg tarts so that you no need to carry the entire souvenir up to the ruins and back down.
Then we headed back to Wynn’s Casino for it Musical Fountain. On the way, we have the famous Portuguese Egg Tart at Margeret’s Cafe e Nata, the egg tart taste was legendary! I forgotten the actually location, however, it is on the way from Senado Park to Wynn’s Casino and it is located at the back of the street. We took Wynn’s Casino free shuttle bus back to harbour and hop on to the Venetian’s Casino free shuttle bus.
Venetian Casino is famous of its beautiful architecture and it is the largest single structure hotel building in Asia and the fourth-largest building in the world by area. Another tips for future visitation to Macau, you can actually hope on to the Wynn’s Casino free shuttle bus from the harbour and walk to Senado Square. It is only around 10 min walking distance from Wynn’s Casino.
