Hong Kong Study Tour Day 5

We went to Hong Kong University (HKU) for their laboratories visitation. Due to our visitation was in middle of their examination, they were unable to organise us a campus tour around HKU. Their lab instrumentation was similar to those we watch in movies, old facilities yet sophisticated. HKU students have more influence than their lecturer and they have the choice whether to attend a class or skip it and lecturer was not allow to record attendance. May be they felt university student should already have the ability to decide anything on themselves. UTM, UTM....when is your turn?

Lab visitation last for around 2 hours. We then head toward to have lunch at the famous Wan Tan Mee. The Wan Tan Mee really live to its name, Ichiban!! We have our after lunch desert at Western Market, after that, we head to the Peak Tram Station on the “Ding Ding” Tram.

We pay in package HKD200/pax for the round ticket, Madame Tussauds and Peak Tower entrance fee. We have Mc Donald at Victoria Peak. We visiting the peak at the wrong time as haze was surrounded the peak and we basically saw nothing. We went to Lan Kwai Fong after that. Lan Kwai Fong basically consists of many pubs, nothing really special over there, so we went to Causeway Bay. A lot of shopping malls located at Causeway Bay.
